While constructing a “big box” design might maximize a building's square footage and rental income, such structures tend to be visually unappealing and too massive to blend into Portland's Division Street neighborhood. To create a more inviting and harmonious design at 3360 Division, we broke up the building with open sections that feature beautifully landscaped areas. To add even more natural space, we incorporated a landscaped border with attractive stormwater management features in the building's backyard. 3360 Division includes three retail spaces on the ground floor, with residential apartments above. The residential units consist of 15 one-bedroom apartments, 6 one-bedroom lofts, 3 loft studios, and 4 two-bedroom apartments. Construction began in the spring of 2013, and the building received its Certificate of Occupancy in April 2014. 3360 Division is LEED Platinum certified, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
